PixelBaby is a family app for raising one shared pixel baby together. It is built to collect as little as possible. There are no ads, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and your data is never sold or used to track you across other apps or websites.

What the app stores, and where

• Your baby (name, look, care stats) is stored in your own private iCloud (Apple CloudKit) and shared only with the family members you invite by link. The developer cannot see it. It is governed by Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy.
• Shared plaza data, used to run the real-time family plaza: the nickname, optional real name, relationship (for example “Grandma”), and avatar you choose; your position and hearts or short messages while in the plaza; a per-day “who helped most” care count; and an anonymous sign-in identifier. This is stored via Google Firebase (Anonymous Authentication and Realtime Database) and used only to run the shared plaza and family list, not for tracking or advertising. Presence and interaction data is transient and is cleared over time.
• On your device only: your language choice, chosen avatar and nickname, and a copy of the baby state (shared with the widget). This never leaves your device except as described above.

Notifications

Notifications (“come play”, “your baby needs you”, and growth milestones) are prepared on your own device and delivered through Apple’s push service for iCloud sync. There is no server that messages you.

Your data is not shared with anyone else.

Children

PixelBaby is meant for families to use together. It is not directed at children for the purpose of collecting personal data; the names and text stored are entered by the family members using the app. If you believe a child provided information you would like removed, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and deletion

• Leave a family or remove a member from within the app.
• Delete the app to remove its on-device data. To delete the shared baby, the family owner can stop sharing it or delete it from iCloud.
• To request deletion of plaza data tied to your account, contact one@choione.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
